During pregnancy and as your little one is developing, there are possible complications that can arise. In some cases this can lead to premature birth, also known as having a 'preemie.' A baby is considered full term at 37 weeks and any baby born before this point is known as a preemie; twins and other other multiples are considered full term before 37 weeks.
