2 Billion Ways to Help Soothe Colic and Tummy Troubles for Baby
Friendly bacteria are your baby’s allies in digestive and immune health. Starting out life with a healthy bacterial balance will impact his health for years to come. Not all baby probiotics are alike. UpSpring Baby Probiotic Drops deliver 2 billion CFUs to help relieve occasional symptoms of colic, gas, constipation and more.* Lactobacillus rhamnosus, the most clinically studied strain of probiotic, promotes healthy bacterial balance for digestive and immune support.*
With our Probiotic Lock Cap technology, you don’t have to worry about whether or not the probiotic cultures are actually viable. (This is the 21st century, and suspended animation is really a thing. For probiotics, that is.) The freeze-dried cultures are held in stasis and protected in a specially engineered cap that protects the probiotics from moisture, light, and heat. A simple downward twist of the Probiotic Lock Cap penetrates the sealed chamber and the powerful probiotic cultures are released into the bottle. Give the bottle a quick shake, and the probiotics are restored to the dynamic, active state that promotes healthy colonization … and a healthy gut for your baby.

Our Label, Your Peace of Mind
We keep our formulas as simple as possible, and that means the list of ingredients can be a short one. Fret not, we aren’t hiding a thing; if it’s in the product, it’s on the label.
Bacteria Can Be Your Child’s Best Friend. Really. We’re on the cusp of a health revolution. For generations, we’ve been fighting against germs to keep us healthy. But now we know that you can’t just guard against the bad bugs; you have to make sure you have plenty of good bacteria as well.
We have ten times more bacteria in our bodies than cells, most of it in the gut, and most of it friendly. (Who knew?) Gut bacteria are involved in digestion, immune function, cognitive function, mood, cell signaling, and more. (Think of them as worker bees, only a lot smaller.) Immune function is of particular interest, since 70-80% of the body’s immune system resides in the gut, and interacts constantly with gut bacteria.
Healthy gut bacteria are needed from birth to support a healthy digestive tract and immune system. Babies born vaginally inherit their mothers’ bacteria, and also get probiotics in their mothers’ breast milk. For a variety of reasons, some babies don’t inherit optimally balanced bacteria: they were born by c-section, they or their mother were taking antibiotics at the time of their birth, or their mothers had dysbiosis. (Don’t beat yourself up, mama. Medical science is only now just figuring this out, and not everyone’s gotten the memo.)
Infancy is an opportune time to provide beneficial bacteria to babies in the form of probiotics, according to researchers. Studies show that probiotics can improve bacterial balance, support intestinal function and a healthy intestinal barrier, and promote a healthy immune response.*
Two billion friendly bacteria in every doseUpSpring is committed to bringing you only the best. That’s why Probiotic Baby Liquid Drops give you two billion CFUs of Lactobacillus rhamnosus per dose -- more live cultures than any other brand for infants.

What are CFUs?
CFU stands for Colony Forming Unit; it’s a measure of potency and refers to the number of live cultures per serving. (If they’re dead, they can’t help you.)
