My husband and I love this! What a great invention! Pay attention to the instructions and you will see that when you first strap your child up with the wings they may not take to it and you may have to hold the straps down lower towards the child's shoulder area or you may have to wait altogether as your child may just not be ready. After a few tries though your child should be walking with confidence.

This has been a lifesaver and a back saver. I had back surgery several years ago and was not able to bend over and hold my sons hands while he was learning to walk. I was out of luck until "Walking Wings" My son loved it so much he still wants to use it. It was a great confidence builder.

This product is amazing! I have a 14 month old who was showing no signs of independent walking. After just two days of using the wings, he took his first unassisted steps. Before walking wings, he wouldn't even hold our hands and take a step.

Finally someone has come up with the solution for moms with babies who are learning to walk! I was given this product as a baby gift, and I have to say I wasn't really sure it would work. When I thought my back might crack from leaning over and holding my baby's hands, I finally decided to try it out and I have to admit that we just wouldn't toddle without it now.

Our 18-month daughter has a pro-nated (turned-in) foot, and it was extremely hard to get her to walk. Within seconds of taking this out of the package and putting it on her, she was up and going! It's very well-made, as it's strong enough to pull her back up to her feet when she tries to return to 'knee-walking.' It's a back-saver, and it easily fits in our small diaper bag. The combination of using this and the physical therapist's recommendation that we put her shoes on the wrong feet (unbelievable, but so effective!) have gotten her almost strong enough to walk unassisted within 2 weeks! I highly recommend this product; it was a godsend!

In my opinion this is simply the best product ever to assist and support babies in their first walking experiences. I saw those other negative customer reviews and I think I know why the product didn't work for them. It's very simply, I don't think the "Walking Wings" is for babies of 6 to 9 months who are still crawling or haven't yet developed a sense of walking confidence at least by holding their parent's hands. If the baby hasn't started making his/her first steps holding hands then I recommend you wait until that happens. I bought mine for my 12 month boy who already started walking a little bit holding our hands but didn't seem to feel confident to walk all by himself. As soon as I put the "Walking Wings" on him it was like I freed his mind from fear and he started walking without even looking for my hands any more. And as for my lower back pains....they're GONE!!!! THANKS WALKING WINGS!!!!

I can't even tell you how much I love this product!! My son was born two months premature and he sees a physical therapist once a week because his gross motor skills are the only thing that he needs some extra help with. I tried it on my son the second we got home and let me tell you...It helped him with his walking THAT night!! We've practiced with the wings every night. This product is amazing and I would recommend it to everyone who has little ones with the same problem that I was having with my little one or just someone who wants to help their children build their confidence in walking. I promise you will love it as much as I do!

My twins are almost 18mo old. One is able to walk but is scared to let go, the other wants to walk but isn't quite ready to yet. Their Early On PT had Walking Wings and used them and I LOVED the idea. I got mine and so far so good. My one twin who is ready to talk feels comfortable enough to let go with it on and hopefully will just 'forget' one day and start walking. While the other twin is finding his balance with the use of these.
These are great because the source of balance with toddlers walking is with their arms, this frees their arms so they can learn to balance. It's not intended for younger infants only those that are 10months and older that are showing interest in walking.

I saw this product online and had to get it. My daughter started to want to walk at six months. After having to bend over and hold her hand my back would start hurting before her legs even got tired. I love it!!

This product is great. Before working for [...] I have never heard about this product and my year old son had difficulty walking to the point we had to go to therapy. Upon my first day working there, I stumbled upon this product. I've seen customers by it and use it in the store and decided to try it for myself. Truly a godsend and a must have. Thanks Walking Wings.

My daughter was born with a brachial plexus injury. With fear of her learning how to walk I didn't want to pull on her little arms in fear of doing more damage to the arm. With walking wings i don't even have to use her arms. LOVE IT !

My 3 year old grandson has cerebral palsy. He is having trouble learning to walk. He now weighs 35 lbs and is hard to carry and hold up. His therapist mentioned to us, Blaynes learning to walk is not as much neurological, as it is learning how to use his arms and legs together. Holding him under his arms was not only hard on him and us, but made it impossible for him to use his arms and balance properly. So we purchased the Walking Wings. He outgrew them in about 2 weeks. However; with the NEW larger wings just being made available, we think Blayne will be walking by SEPTEMBER!
Praise GOD and the makers of Walking Wings!

I never knew about this product until I just saw it one day at BRU. I got it for my husband who has a serious back injury. He's 6'3" tall and it was impossible for him to walk with our son when he started to toddle. Since my husband is the stay-at-home parent he really needs to be there for all our son's needs! This product has really made all the difference for our son's comfort and safety and my husband's limitations.

I love this product! It seemed to take forever for my son to transition from crawling to walking. He would cry when I held his hands to assist him and with this he felt as though he was walking on his own and it gave him more confidence. It's also great for restaurants and parks so that your toddler doesn't have to get his hands dirty and scrape his knees by crawling around on dirty or hard surfaces. I've given it as a gift, too, and it was a big hit.

This is great for airports and places where you have a lot of waiting around. Really a back saver!!!

I bought this item because my 5 month old son likes to "walk" while you hold him up and he can stand on his own holding on to the couch. This is a great product! The padding that goes around his chest is cushy and soft. It velcros and straps for extra safety. The handles are easy to hold him up with and saves your back. You can also make the handles shorter for babies that need extra support when trying to walk. Highly recommend!

Our little guy loved using his Walking Wings, and the biggest benefit was that it saved my husband's back. At 6'8" he was definitely sick of bending over so this product was a huge help. We would definitely recommend.

My 13 month old was struggling walking and it was killing my back. I did not think there was anything on the market to help with this so when I found Walking Wings I was very surprised. I've had Walking Wings now for 3 months and I LOVE IT. I was impressed with the product quality and design. I am now purchasing a Walking Wings for my best friend's little boy's first birthday because he is pulling up and trying to walk.

This is great, I bought it for my daughter 15 months old. Oh God, now she believes she can go freely where she wants... she tries to run instead to walk. She is so happy, even she gives it to me meaning "time to go"... I wish I would discovered this earlier.
I find that this product was awesome for because I didn't have to be bending down so low. And stretching my daughter arms so high. When I put it on her at first she found it awkward but then she got used to it. We both loved it a lot. If someone that has back problems and can't be bending so low this is the best product to have because it will make you and your baby very happy and will be walking free and feeling independent.

My husband is 6'8" and was really sick of walking around our house bent over. I bought Walking Wings as soon as I saw it and problem solved. I live in a happy house again.
We also gave one to my very tall father-in-law and he loves that he can now help without causing himself any pain.

I saw this product on the Today Show a couple of months ago and bought it for my folks who are ready and willing to help with my very active son, but not happy about the physical part of running after a crawling baby. With Walking Wings they are able to spend more active time with him around and about without complaining about their backs, arms, and shoulders while he toddles. I like the fact that both of them are getting exercise while he learns to walk, and he isn't confined in the jumpy.

This is so great! Great gift...I recently gave it to one of my best friends and she said her daughter absolutely loves it. No more crying fits over holding hands to walk. It gives the little spitfire a way to get around "on her own".

I really recommend this product to everyone! My daughter just started learning to walk and Walking Wings has been such a lifesaver for us. She is able to move around the room without falling and hurting herself and it is so much easier on my back than bending over and trying to hold her little arms above her head. I also no longer worry about her trying out her new skills with my older parents. A definite must for a new mom.

Walking Wings has been a back-saver for us, as parents. While guiding our 10-month-old son through laps around the house, we have enjoyed watching his confidence soar!
He loves to follow the puppies and reach out to pet them with his free hands. He is not interested in crawling, yet he gets frustrated with not being able to move about on his own.
Enter Walking Wings, and everyone wins!"

I wanted to say thank you for this wonderful product. One of the mothers on my Down Syndrome list saw them on the Today Show Tuesday and sent me the info. I went out that night and bought a set for my 18 month old daughter."
On Wednesday, I showed them to her physical therapist who was amazed and more than happy to try them out. We took her out the front door with the walking wings and a push toy and she walked the sidewalk in front of our house 3 times. This is the longest distance she has walked with her walking toy. "
We were so happy. This morning I showed my husband how well she could walk using the walking wings and her push toy and we both cried. They give all of us the confidence we needed to get her walking.

Until their appearance on Great Day Houston, I had never heard of Walking Wings and I never even considered looking for a product to help my daughter learn to walk. Then, I put it on her and she took off."
On Sunday, we celebrated Aidan Kate's 1st birthday. Until that day she only took a step or two before plopping down on her bottom. So I made sure to pack her Walking Wings so she wouldn't get her dress dirty. But my wife and I got a huge surprise that day. When we took off the Walking Wings (and changed her outfit), Aidan Kate walked more than six feet unassisted."
Since then, she's made walking her mission. She's all over the house now and even climbing into chairs. As a first-time dad, I'm amazed to discover a way to help my daughter develop new skills and I think every dad (and mom) should know about Walking Wings."
